When a compressor swap makes sense
A compressor replacement is real work — refrigerant recovered, the old unit cut out and the new one brazed in, a deep vacuum pulled, and the charge rebuilt from zero. It only makes sense when the rest of the system earns it: a sound coil, a healthy condenser, ductwork doing its job. That's exactly the check we ran here, and the numbers said repair. So we repaired.
