SMS Terms and Conditions

Program name and sender

Lucas Heating and Air Customer Texts is the text-messaging program of Lucas Heating and Air, a trade name of Lucas Construction & Design LLC, 840 W 1700 S, Ste 12, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. These terms apply to every text message (SMS or MMS) we send to you.

What we send

Customer-service messages about the heating and cooling work you asked us about: replies to your questions, appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival updates, estimate and invoice notifications, and a one-time request for feedback after a completed job. We do not send messages to people who have not contacted us, and we never text purchased lists.

How you opt in

• Website. On our contact form you enter your phone number and tick an optional box agreeing to receive texts. The box is unchecked by default.
• Texting us first. If you send a text to our business number, we reply within that conversation.
• By phone. When you call to book service, our office asks whether we may text you at your number and reads you these disclosures. We record your answer before sending any text.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your service request. Most customers receive a few messages per job.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one final confirmation text, and no further messages will be sent. Opting out of texts does not affect your appointment, estimate, or warranty; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.

Consent is not required

Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-message consent with third parties, including affiliates, for their own marketing purposes. Our full privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Changes to these terms

If we change this program, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
