Our guarantee

The free 5-year labor warranty, in plain terms

Every installation we do includes five years of labor coverage on our workmanship. Most companies cover one or two years. Here's exactly what that means — published, so you can hold us to it.

What's covered

Five years of labor on installation workmanship defects under normal use, starting the day we install your equipment. If something we did during the installation fails, we come back and make it right — no labor bill.

What keeps it valid

  • An annual professional tune-up performed by Lucas Heating and Air. One visit a year keeps the equipment healthy and the warranty active — and our tune-up price is posted on thespecials page.
  • Ordinary homeowner care: change filters every 2–3 months, keep the condensate lines clear, keep the equipment accessible, and use the thermostat as designed. We'll show you all of this at the installation walkthrough.

What it doesn't cover

  • Problems unrelated to our installation, or damage caused by lack of maintenance — for those visits, our standard posteddiagnostic fee applies (and it's waived if we do the repair).
  • Equipment defects themselves — those are covered by themanufacturer's parts warranty, which is separate and often runs 10 years on registered equipment. Ask us about registration at your installation.

Who it belongs to

The warranty covers the original purchaser at the original address, and it isn't transferable if the home sells.

Making a claim

One phone call: (801) 678-5748. Tell us the system was installed by Lucas Heating and Air and describe what it's doing — we'll take it from there. Se Habla Español.
